The larva is polyphagous and feeds on the leaves and fruits of a variety of plants i.e. Caprifoliaceae (Sambucus nigra), Labiatae (Origanum vulgare, Mentha, Thymus), Compositae (Achillea), Rosaceae (Rubus, Crataegus), Lythraceae (Lythrum), etc.
