Identify a butterfly! Are you wondering about the identity of a butterfly that you have spotted and photographed on the island? The Greece Butterfly Recognizer System by Lazaros Pamperis is able to identify 235 species of butterflies from Greece with nearly 90% identification accuracy.
The application even distinguishes easily and reliably, between species that look quite similar, based on key characteristics of each species, i.e. Pieris rapae and Pieris brassicae.
