Food plant
The larva is oligophagous on Oleaceae (Olea europaea, Jasminum, Ligustrum, Phillyrea). There are three larvae generations; one feeding on the flowers, a second one feeding on the developing fruits, and a third one that are leafminers and appear from autumn till spring.
It is considered as a major pest in olive trees.
