Habitat
Rocky slopes, mountains, dry shrubland, phrygana. It hibernates during winter in caves, tunnels, and dark cavities.
Food plant
The larva is oligophagous on Leguminosae (Hippocrepis, Genista, Onobrychis, Medicago, etc.) and feeds on the leaves.
