Arid areas with sparse vegetation, ruderal habitats, along roads, and coastal areas.
Food plant
The larva is oligophagous on Amaranthaceae (Atriplex halimus, Atriplex patula, Chenopodium album κ.α.) and can be spotted in a web around the inflorescence.
