Habitat

Rocky and stony hillsides with open dry shrubby vegetation.

Food plant

Published records identify Ephedra distachya as the host plant of the species. However, this species is not known to occur in Crete. As Ephedra foemina is the sole representative of the genus Ephedra on the island, it should be considered a potential host plant and investigated accordingly.
