Habitat
Habitats with the larval food plant, i.e. coastal areas, gardens, parks, etc.
Food plant
The larva is oligophagous on Arecaceae (Chamaerops humilis, Phoenix dactylifera, Phoenix canariensis, Washingtonia robusta, etc.). The larva bores inside the plant and feeds on the stems and the trunk of the palms.
