Appearance

The ground color of the forewings is creamy white, densely suffused with ochreous to dark brown scales. There is a distinct row of white-edged black spots along the outer edge of the forewings.

The hindwings are creamy white to grey-brown colored.

Habitat

Olive groves, phrygana, open areas, and gardens.

Food plant

The larva is oligophagous on Poaceae (Zea mays, Sorghum bicolor).
