The larva is polyphagous and feeds on the leaves of a variety of plants, i.e. Fagaceae (Quercus ilex, Quercus robur), Salicaceae (Salix, Populus), Aceraceae (Acer), Oleaceae (Ligustrum vulgare), Anacardiaceae (Pistacia lentiscus, Pistacia terebinthus), Rosaceae (Prunus domestica, Prunus spinosa, Pyrus, Malus domestica), etc.
