The larva is polyphagous and feeds on the flowers of a variety of plants, i.e. Umbelliferae (Bupleurum, Daucus carota, Foeniculum vulgare, Ferula communis, Eryngium), Labiatae (Thymbra capitata), Leguminosae (Melilotus officinalis), etc.
