The larva is polyphagous and feeds on the flowers of a variety of plants, i.e. Dispaceae (Scabiosa atropurpurea ssp maritima), Orobanchaceae (Bellardia trixago), Plumbaginaceae Kickxia spuria ssp integrifolia, Misopates orontium), etc.
