Food plant
The larva is polyphagous mostly on Convolvulaceae (Calystegia sepia, Convolvulus althaeoides, Convolvulus arvensis), as well as on Compositae (Helianthus), Verbenaceae (Lantana camara), Rosaceae (Malus domestica (Apple tree), Solanaceae (Nicotiana), Polygonaceae (Emex spinosa, Rumex, Persicaria), etc and feeds on the leaves.
