Food plant

The larva is oligophagous on Solanaceae (Lycopersicon lycopersicum, Nicotiana glauca, Datura stramonium, Solanum), Phaseolus vulgaris, Convolvulaceae (Convolvulus arvensis), Amaranthaceae (Chenopodium album) and feeds on the fruits, stems, and leaves.

It is considered a serious pest to tomato plants.
