The larva is polyphagous and feeds on the leaves of a variety of plants i.e. Ericaceae (Arbutus unedo), Leguminosae (Calicotome villosa, Genista, Dorycnium), Anacardiaceae (Pistacia lentiscus), Rosaceae (Prunus domestica, Rosa canina, Rubus), Ulmaceae (Ulmus) etc.
