Coastal or at least lowland areas with trees or shrubs of the genus Cupressus. In cypress alleys in and around human settlements.
Food plant
The larva is oligophagous on Cupressaceae (Juniperus, Cupressus), Fagaceae (Quercus) and feeds on the leaves.
