Notes

Berggren, K. & L. Aarvik (*) consider the Cretan populations of Callima icterinella (Mann, 1867) comb. nov. as the new separate taxon Callima cretensis (Berggren & Aarvik, 2024). It is also stated that “…Callima cretensis can be separated from the other species of the complex by its black forewing pattern, by the widened termination of the phallus in the male genitalia, and by the broad antrum in the female genitalia…"
