The larva feeds on dead leaves and ocassionally on the fruits of various plants, i.e. Rosaceae (Prunus, Malus sylvestris, Crataegus), Araliaceae (Hedera helix), Oleaceae (Ligustrum vulgare), Polygonaceae (Polygonum), etc.
